Established in Fairmont, NC in 1974, Re-New-It initially began as a furniture refinishing service. Once the favorable reputation for quality service was recognized by the local community, owner and founder, Mazlone Calwell, was called upon by Robeson Technical College to instruct classes in the art of furniture repair, care and refinishing. Soon enough, Re-New-It’s customers began requesting services not being offered by the company. Seizing the opportunity to grow the business, Mazlone recruited a group of highly skilled and knowledgeable professionals in the furniture restoration industry and began to widen the scope of services offered by Re-New-It.
